GoodGymmers Just Want to Have Sun

After Patrick and Lucy made a cracking start on Ms O’s garden last week, Frances and Andy joined them on a lovely sunny and warm bank holiday Sunday to finish off the job.

Andy and Frances made a start on the weeds at the side of the garden, pulling them up, bagging them, and blitzing the area with weed killer.

Meanwhile, Patrick and Lucy got to work at the back of the garden, tackling the large amounts of ivy on the back wall, and managing to completely clear it (Seriously, compare the photos from last week and this week). After that we teamed up to bag up the leaves and branches and deposit them out front for collection.

As we worked we were treated to cups of tea, several visits from a very tame robin, and Patrick’s music – who knew he was such an Avril Lavigne fan?

Job done, we waved goodbye to very happy Ms O and set off to enjoy the sunshine.
