Today’s mission was for Mrs R in Ealing, who was unable to take care of her garden as much as she wanted to due to reduced mobility.

After overcoming the challenge of finding Mrs R’s place, Jenni and JP were led through to the garden and got to work. We found tools in the shed and Mrs R provided us with rooting powder, and we took cuttings from one of the bushes and planted them in small pots.

Once we had done 11 cuttings, Mrs R gave us some seeds, which we planted in the flower beds. Soon enough she was back with more, this time pumpkin seeds, and then she came out with an old KFC bucket containing lychee stones.

After planting as many seeds as we thought reasonable in the flower beds, we were done for the task. Mrs R was very pleased with our work and invited us to come back and see the results when they had come up!
