Surrey Street Primary School were the fantastic hosts for this weeks group run task and 4 of Goodgym Luton's finest Ran and Walked to help some of the school's own volunteers with a garden project that is being revised after falling by the wayside in recent times. After arriving at the task and being greeted by our hosts, the team got stuck in to painting some raised beds and digging a hole for a small pond, which will eventually be the centrepiece of a larger water feature. After painting and pond digging, we all got stuck in turning over the soil in the raised beds. All this was done by torch light, with the lights from the airplanes flying over head too. The team then headed off back to town. This was a really great task hosted by a greatly appreciative host. I'm sure this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Well done everyone, great effort 👌
