Four the love of Hogs

Four Goodgymers headed over to Chiswick allotments to help Wild Chiswick with maintaining the habitat they are creating for Hedgehogs and other wildlife.

This morning Florian and Michelle picked up where Divya and Michelle left off last weekend, creating a Hedgehog highway around the pond. Today we were levelling the ground, moving fresh soil to the edges of the pond to help the pond life thrive.

Meanwhile Luis was set to work de- brambling and Johnny got stuck in with clearing and breaking down undergrowth to be added to the hedgerow.

An hour well spent in the peaceful allotment and although we missed the Vole family who were making the most of the bank holiday weekend elsewhere, it was great to see the habitat thriving and ready to welcome plenty of other wildlife.
