Usual Tuesday Asda trip to pick up an essential shop for Mr M.

Usual hold up at the check out, as technology designed to speed things up brings things to a halt.

On the way out, I found myself having a lengthy conversation with a 74 year old gentleman who was impressed with my bike and panniers 😄. He explained how he keeps himself fit and healthy with his daily exercise routine: 10 press-ups, 20 knee lifts, 30 squats, and stretching 😉 something for me to aim for, maybe 👍

Mr M was.pleased to get his shopping, but had not had the best start to the day. He had been up since 7, when he discovered a leak under his kitchen sink! Having called the emergency number he was told someone would be there straight away...he was still waiting at 11 o'clock. Worse still, he had turned off his heating, so that no water was being used...not the best situation for an isolating older person in winter.
