En root to the stores

This week I did some shopping for a couple of isolated older neighbours. One trip was to holdover a household until a big Tesco order arrived, and the other involved collecting a longer list of foods and other essentials. In the process, I learned both what turmeric root looks like and which store nears me sells it!
