Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
12 runners met up on a sunny Saturday for a long run up to Easton Community Gardens in...er... Easton.
The pace was steady for the run, with Chris B leading the way and Pru bringing up the rear for a change. We were so lucky with the weather - yet ANOTHER dry GoodGym run, a little windy but once we got to the Community Garden, we all breathed in the smell of growing things and had a little bask in the sun!
This is one of those runs where the pictures saw 1000 words so have a look at them (and the funny faces we pull!) - we had sweeping, digging, hoe-ing, peeling tape off cardboard-ing, chopping, building, breaking - a bit of everything on this run. Oh, and at the end, chatting, chilling and eating at Roll for the Soul.
We had some lovely new folk, some who had done just a few runs, and lots of the usual suspects as well. We also had a debate about magpies (what are you supposed to say when you see them? What's the rhyme that tells you if you should be sad or happy depending on how many magpies you see), got to stroke a doggie, and had a mini lecture about the perma-culture movement as well. Motivational, inspirational, Goodgym-ational!
After the little talk about perma-culture, we hit the path to run back in to town, resplendent in our lovely red t-shirts and showing Bristol that GoodGym is on the move!

We can enjoy the “sunny” bank holiday and the cemetery will be lovely for everyone
