On a Friday night in December a festive festoon of Goodgymmers and Elaine from Urban Green Uu got in the seasonal spirit. For once we did not meet with trainers, lights and ready to get stuck into some work.

What a treat - our area activator [Ema] had offered us an opportunity to attend the Christmas concert of the choir she is Involved with. Choir with No Name is a choir that comes with fantastic voices, great arrangements of songs, tremendous energy and a choir manager (Ema) sporting full on Christmas fashion sense. What a joy as we were invited to sing along to a number of Christmas favourites - it was interesting that all our shyness and apologies to each other that we weren't good singers was forgotten as we sang and danced and clapped and waved our hands in the air. The choirs enthusiasm was infectious. It was an added bonus to be able t catch up with Goodgymmer Steph who is a core volunteer at The Choir With No Name (yep she also had tremendous Christmas fashion sense).

However our fun didn't stop as we were treated to two further choirs performances - the two guest choirs each performed four songs each. Asylum Link Merseyside choir treated us to an energy busting set which had us all beaming with joy and just stopping short of dancing. Uni T choir gave us beautiful harmonies and then caught us out with the hysterical ODe to the Brussel Sprout - to be that melodious whilst singing about sprouts is an amazing skill - such great talent.

What a treat. Thank you to all that worked so hard to put on this show and thank you so much for inviting us.
