Three GoodGymmers met in Islington to tidy up Mr P's garden.

It was a gorgeous day and we all took advantage by running down to the meeting point. Patrick came over from finsbury Park run while Danny and I had trekked over from further north.

Mr P asked us to remove the weeds from the paving stones in his garden and attack some of the brambles that had taken hold in the flower beds. With Patrick's speaker blasting some music in the sunshine we got to work.

About an hour and half later we had filled up the garden bags with weeds and brambles and swept up the garden leaving it much tidier. Mr P was really pleased and in fact spent a few minutes in the garden with us telling us about his former career.

A good job done and we took a quick selfie before setting off on our runs home.
