Mission

Don't be alarmed! It's all sorted now

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Coventry.

One runner ran to help Mrs R with her carbon monoxide alarm. In consideration of the need for social distancing and personal hygiene, she provided gloves and we kept a careful two metres apart :) In no time at all the batteries were changed and the alarm was back in position. We had a quick chat about the help Goodgym could offer with shopping, then with a quick test of the alarm to ensure all was well, it was farewell to Mrs R (until the next time perhaps!).

Such a small five minute task has made a huge difference to Mrs R. She knows there is help out there, and she is not alone despite being isolated right now.

Spot on the money, Deborah. It might have seemed like a small task but was certainly very helpful to this person, well done!
