Clothes Encounters

TRAID is a charity working to stop clothes from being thrown away by turning clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes. They had their massive sale yesterday and asked Googym for a hand packing up everything that wasn’t sold so it could be sent back to the warehouse for repurposing. We turned up just as the last few lucky punters were grabbing their bargains (some of us wishing we’d got there a little earlier with our pennies at the ready!) and got ready to pack. As soon as the doors shut there was no skirting round the issue, and we jumpered to it, folding and packing like mad. The result was that the whole shop was cleared- and we are reliably informed it was in record time. With goodgym lending a hand, it was a shoe-in!
