Clearing the Climbing Circle

Our mission was to clear the circle around the climbing frame at Holgate Community Garden. We spent an hour weeding and cutting back brambles and ivy and tidying up the edges. It was hot and thorny work but the three of us made short work of it. The timing was perfect as we had just cleared back to the edge when the play park inspector from the council came to inspect what needed doing to the park. He was extremely grateful to be able to see the wooden edge right around for the first time as well as how much bark chip they would need.
