Citizens assembled for goodgym
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Barnet.
- Wednesday, 29th of March 2023
- Led by Paul Salman
Goodgym Barnet were invited to a Show And Tell event for the newly created citizens assembly. Forty representatives of the borough have been considering how the borough of Barnet could be delivering net zero and improving the local environment. Goodgym and Tiny Forest Barnet were given a platform to speak with the representatives about how they engage the local community. Thanks to Penny, Franky and Paul for attending the event. The citizens assembly will make recommendations to Barnet Council about how to deliver net zero. Many seem to like the ideas behind Tiny Forest and GoodGym so fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Thank you, note from organiser,
I wanted to write a note to say thank you for joining us on Wednesday. It was great to meet you and learn more about what you're doing in the borough. We received really positive feedback from participants on the community exhibition - with many of them surprised there was so much going on that they didn't know about! It was interesting to hear how that experience started to inform some of their ideas. I hope you enjoyed the opportunity to meet some members of the community and share your work.
