Bedding down

We were welcomed by Ms J’s neighbour, who was expecting Jim and seemed a bit surprised when Jody and I turned up... Having cleared up that little confusion and explained to him a little about GG (he is going to try and convince his granddaughters to join now!) we set to work. The task was to move Ms J’s bed from her upstairs bedroom downstairs - apparently she has been in hospital with a broken hip and can’t be discharged until there is somewhere for her to sleep downstairs. The task itself was pretty easy - happily the bed frame came apart (and went back together again) very easily and we managed to get the heavy mattress down the stairs without damaging anything, even our backs. Hopefully Ms J will be happy to come home again and make a speedy recovery.
