Beckton Time

Back up and down the Greenway to drop off meds for Mrs V and Mrs P, gratefully received as always. It was too dark for my phone to produce a sensible photo, so here's one of the Beckton Corridor in lighter times. The "Corridor" may sound innocuous enough, but it's actually one of Beckton's best features. It formed part of the parkrun course and as you headed out and back along it were sure to receive many signs and sounds of encouragement from anyone coming the other way (it was actually the friendliest parkrun ever). My favourite part of the course directions were on when to turn back - "at the lampost, but if you reach Asda, you've gone too far". I keep hope that with recent developments, the day when those wonderful signs, sounds and directions are back with us may just be getting nearer.
