Bark Life

Four of us met up with The Friends of Harvard Hill community group to lend a hand litter picking in the spring sunshine.

GoodGym has been working with TFOHH, planting spring bulbs around the playground and we were not disappointed with our efforts. Daffodils and hyacinth were peeping out when we arrived. A local volunteer who had also come along to help kindly shared gloves and rubbish bags before TFOHH arrived and passed on brand new litter pickers for us to clear the area.

Mid way through our litter pick four legs came bounding towards us, and soon got the four of us joining his game of fetch.. our new friend was so happy to have new friends to play with we almost forgot why we were there.

When we finally dragged ourselves away, we filled 3 bags of litter before heading off for some hot drinks in the sunshine.
