It was the first task for new Richmond Area Activator Sam as 7 hardy Good Gym runners turned up on the cool dry night outside Whole Foods in Richmond at 18:45hrs and after a quick warm up set off on a 5km run led by Jack. We arrived on top of Richmond Hill outside the Star and Garter after a hill climbon Queen's Road where we met Ken who had made his way via a shorter route from the start to get set up. We proceeded to take on the challenge of planting 500 dwarf daffodil bulbs along the stairs on Tollemache Trail on Petersham Common. We look forward to the bountiful bright early spring yellow display every March henceforth. After the hour long task we sauntered down the hill back to Richmond in the cool night.
