Meanwhile in Landan 15 Brave souls took to the streets to deliver leaflets whilst 2 more headed off on a mission to clear some greenery

The rain and cold didn't stop an enthusiastic bunch of Hackney good gym runners set off on their weekly run.

After our briefing with Cory where we welcomed two new runners to the group, we set out at a steady pace to St Lukes church in Hackney. We were met by a group volunteers who were waiting and ready to give us our task for the evening.

They needed two things done. One was a flyer run for their upcoming easter events. The second was to help move some things within the church for an upcoming community event. We split into three groups one helping inside and the other two were on the flyer run.

For those on the flyer run, it was a evening of extraordinary heights. We faced a intimidating amount of high rise apartment blocks which the flyers needed to be delivered to.

Taking a different level each we sprinted up the stairs and delivered the leaflets faster than hamsters running around their cages. We even got to take in some amazing views of the city.

We had some young cheerleaders cheering us on which helped those legs move a tiny bit faster. Cory felt that we weren't working hard enough so he insisted we all run at full pelt to the top floor and work our way down.

The flyer run was finished in surprisingly record time. We headed back to meet the fellow runners who were helping out inside the church.

After they were finished there tasks inside, we said our fair-wells thinking it was time to go home.

Little did we know that Cory had a few sneaky surprises for us on the way home! We had a series of drills which included high knees, running like a crab and making cognac to name a few. These all aimed to improve various muscles and techniques which defiantly finished most of us off!

After a gruelling 10minutes we all said Hallelujah when Cory said it was time to go back to base.

With a steady jog back we did some nice stretches and met the guys who had been on a special mission.

With stories exchanged, it was time to say fair-well for another week at good gym Hackney!
