Mission

“All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey”

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Barnet.

The lyrics to California dreamin pretty much sum up Saturday morning, it was cold the sky was very much grey and the leaves all over Dr Y’s garden were indeed brown!

We started off by helping Dr Y with a few tasks to empty her rubbish and recycling. Then once that was complete Jody and I got to work to clear all the fallen leaves. (This was actually my second visit having been a few weeks earlier to clear the pesky leaves then too! )

Despite the wind trying it’s hardest to undo our efforts we soon had the garden cleared and looking nice and tidy again.

The lovely Dr Y was very grateful as we said our goodbyes so I think we can say Mission complete!
