This task involved supporting the sweet Ms F, following a referral from Holborn Community Association.

With her local Waitrose closed and the next nearest branch more than 1km away, getting a full shop home had become a real challenge, especially when it included heavier items.

Ms F also struggles with anxiety, so this was a task that called for patience and reassurance as much as shopping. It was a granular shopping list: 4 (certified organic and unwaxed) lemons, 2 poached Scottish salmon with lemon and herbs, cheese and onion quiche, 4 pints of Dutchy Organic semi-skimmed milk, 30% reduced fat mature grated cheddar cheese, a pack of trimmed sugar snap peas, 5 packs of Jersey Royal new baby potatoes, and a pack of 6 bottles of Highland Spring still spring water at 1.5 litres each.

Everything was safely delivered to the lovely Ms F, who was full of warmth and gratitude.

One of my regulars. Nice job. I opted for the small supermarkets nearby but glad you got all her favourites.
