We met up at Brompton HQ in Greenford on a bright and chilly morning. After our hellos, and the essential safety chat about slippy roads, 15 Brompton staff and one GoodGymer set off along the Grand Union Canal. Thankfully, the ride was incident free as we greeted walkers with a round of 'good morning'!

The group were pleasantly surprised at the urban oasis that is Horsenden Farm - it's an amazing place if you've never been before. After figuring out which gloves were left and which were right hands, we were set to work on clearing branches, digging up roots and moving soil, only stopping for one break - a truly enthusiastic bunch! The day got warmer and being outside under a blue sky was a positive pleasure.

Once we were able to drag the diggers away from the latest root they had tackled, we set off back down the canal, satisfied with our morning's work.
