it was very windy litter pick this morning and Judy and I could have done with window wipers on our specs!! We started at The Pyramids and went as far as South Parade Pier and back again and bagged a fair amount of bits and bobs. So much cuttlefish washed up onto the beach, so Judy picked up a large chunk to bring home for Gigi to gnaw on!! There was a large patch of sea kale ..'wonder if it's salty' said Judy, so I tore a small amount off, chewed it for a second or two and said 'No, but it does have a tang of dog wee' , although I may not have said it so politely!! Judy pickef up a hard plastic tube with a lot of barnicles, hardened with age, a sea thug perhapsI Lots of laughs were had and loads of 'Good mornings' to the people out for their morning walks, putting smiles on their faces. All in all a VERY pleasant and positive start to Saturday. Oh and I found a perfect shell which Judy wanted to keep, I just asked her 'Shell we dance'? And one last thing ..Yes I am getting a hair cut on Wednesday so the hair band will be banished (for now).
