Luckily there was very little litter in Southsea beach this morning. We still found a sock and Abby found some bones.

A very windy beach clean! Lots of chasing rubbish. Wilson was very happy finding a toy chicken foot. Ellie made after tail walking in havant. Judy nearly got hit in the face by some soggy trunks. Lots of small bits of plastic and sweet wrappers.

Welcome Nicola to your first GoodGym session, hopefully the first of many!
All I can tell you about today's litter pick is that Judy lost her phone and Nick said that there were no interesting finds for the day!
Hopefully the sea breeze blew away the cobwebs for everyone. On behalf of the beach and marine life, thank you for your support!

It was good to get back to joining Southsea Beachwatch and lots of other volunteers for a monthly beach clean.
Our group included Alice & Chris, who fitted in a visit to Father Christmas, and Louisa, Yvonne and their doggie beach-combers, Pip and Benny.
As well as collecting plastics, litter and fishing tackle to add to Southsea Beachwatch's large sack of collected rubbish, we also reunited lost items with their owners. Yvonne found my lost glove and Rosie returned a woolly hat to a young beachwatcher.
So many good deeds in one day!

Our intrepid crew, many attending post a wet and windy ParkRun, took to the beach for a litter pick this morning.
We covered the patch between Coffee Cup and the Yomper Statue and were please with how little litter there actually was!
Ellie found the essential item of clothing - a rather damp sock - and probably our most interesting find; the packaging from a "king-size" condom, which sparked a rather non-PG discussion!
Thanks to all for braving the weather this morning!
