12:00 - 14:00We're marking World Cleanup Day this year with a litter pick on Regent's Canal, starting in Camden and heading back to Islington. Eslam is helping to organise the day.
It's a 'relay race' style clean up with another group heading west from Camden. We'll cover the stretch from Camden Market to Angel, where we'll be passing the baton over to paddle boarders from Islington Boat Club.
We're meeting at 12 near Camden Market and aiming to be done with our section by roughly 2. Join for as long as you can.
World Cleanup Day is a global movement that goes beyond cleaning up waste and aims to address the systems that generate it and this year's theme focuses on food waste. #WorldCleanupDay #CleanPlateCleanCity
