Friends of Woolwich CommonHi everyone and welcome to GoodGym Greenwich!
We're a friendly and social group who combine running with volunteering in the local community.
The Task
We're going to help out the Friends of Woolwich Common who meet each month to pick litter and to protect this beautiful land. They'll have plenty of bags and pickers so just bring some gloves with you. Fun fact: if you register to be an Environmental Champion at waste.advisors@royalgreenwich.gov.uk you can also get your own pickers from the council.
The Run
Where & When
If you're joining the run, meet at the Old Cottage Cafe at 10.30am. If you're joining for the task, meet on the common on the path opposite the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at 11am. The what three words address is ///mouth.work.jungle. Just let us know in the comments if you plan to meet at the task.
What to bring
Please bring some water and gloves if you have some, otherwise it's just yourself.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
