20 GoodGymers ran 9k to Livingwell Community garden to remove a tonne of weeds!

Our longest run to a task brought out the toughest crew! Which means a 16:4 Female to male ratio!

Hitting the ground running we powered towards Stamford Hill getting into our running flow we made great time on the run!

Helped out with some additional tool from Peter we got to work pulling out, digging up and turning over the forest of weeds that had grown since our last visit!

Making awesome progressing filling up 4 brown bins and staking a huge weed pile as we were working so fast. We began turning over the soil and clearing the area as much perfectly as possible. With a new plan in place with task owner Rosemary we will have the garden cleared and covered in the next few visits! Then we will be able to get stuck into some food and flower planting in the new year!

With time ticking we made a swift exit and with the slightly downhill run back to base made great time! Powering back on mass!!

Next week we have our Halloween treat! Abney Park in fancy dress then social after.

Look forward to seeing everyone’s costumes!! See you next week!

Smooth Running
