We aim to provide a hub where residents can come together in an outdoor space and undertake gentle exercise by gardening together. Promote wellbeing across our community for those living alone. We are restoring a small woodland area and developing a wildlife garden alongside a number of vegetable plots where we intend produce grown by the community to be freely available. We are working with the Wildlife Trust and local youth organisations to develop the garden and share growing skills across the generations.

Wednesday evening group sessions are all about coming together as a big team and heading out together to a practical task out in the community.

This week we're running out to the Grasmere Community Garden where there are exciting new plans to boost engagement with nature this spring, and we've been asked to help out.

We meet up at 6:45 in the Galaxy, at the bottom of the stairs where we say hi to eachother and warm up for the run.

It's a 5km distance to our task this week, so not very suitable for walking, but you could easily join us by bike as we'll mostly be on the New Bedford Road cycle track.

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
