Getting Welwyn to autumnal Sunday walks!

Goodgym Islington had 6 intrepid hikers join us for our monthly social long walk today- starting in Welwyn Garden City, passing through lots of Hertfordshire towns and villages anf following the River Lee to Broxbourne.

We were super lucky with the weather, missing an early morning dousing of cold rain. The rest of the day was crisp and cool, with lovely colours produced my forest tunnels and local woodland serving as a glorious autumnal backdrop for our trip.

It was really lovely to be able to explore the Cole Green railway line path and the River Lea Navigation.
