Volunteering at the Leeds 10k
We'll help to ensure the event goes ahead, and cheer people on to new pbs!
Alongside government social distancing and hygiene rules, you must:
- Bring your own gloves suitable for the task
- Not share tools at the task or clean tools between each use
The Leeds 10k a great event that takes place every year in Leeds. It has a new route this year, which takes it right past our base, and around loads of the areas we visit on our Wednesday group runs.
We've been asked to provide marshalls for the event, and we'll get our own section where we fill up all the volunteering spots, meaning people will get a massive boost from a mile or so of GoodGym cheers! It would be great to get a good number of volunteers out, as it will help to spread the word about GoodGym among the running community, and to get our name out there a bit more widely.
It also means we guarantee a great cheer squad for any of our runners who happen to be racing!
Further details to come, but register your interest by clicking attending, and I will update as soon as possible.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
