10:00 - 11:00Goodgym have been involved in creating a tiny forest near Kimberlow Hill near York University (Sports Village end).
The trees are fast becoming self-sufficient, but we are going to remove two of the bathtub ponds as the water is looking grubby and they are not supporting wildlife as intended. Over time, we will work on improving the remaining bathtub pond to make it more attractive for wildlife. The final part of the task is elevenses and general appreciation of the forest.
Bring gloves and footwear for muddy ground (and a contribution to elevenses if you like).
Some of us will be at Heslington Parkrun beforehand - let us know if you fancy joining, or we will see you there!
