A welcoming, open Anglo Catholic church with a rich musical heritage. We worship our Lord in reverence taking our Sung Masses (but not ourselves) seriously. We hope you experience the beauty of God through our incense filled services. Children and families are always most welcome

Welcome to GoodGym Bexley!

We're a friendly and sociable group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Wednesday evening to get active and do a physical task to help community organisations and charities in our area.

This session is ideal if you are new to GoodGym or just getting started with running, as it's a short distance there and back. Prefer to walk there? No problem, we can have a walking group to get there too. Nervous about coming on your own for the first time? We make everyone feel welcome but perhaps your could invite a friend to come along with you.

The task

We've been asked to help tidy up the outdoor area at the Holy Trinity Lamorbey Church Hall. It's been a bit neglected so we'll be making it nicer for the preschool children, Scouts and Brownies that use the hall.

Please bring gardening gloves if you have them ๐Ÿงค.

Where and when

The task is at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Hurst Rd, Sidcup DA15 9AE what3words: words.noted.lamp. If you are going there directly, we'll meet outside the entrance of the hall for 7pm. Please leave a comment below so that we know to meet you at the hall.

The group run/walk

If you'd like to join the group run/walk, we'll meet at 6.40pm outside the reception at Sidcup Leisure Centre, Hurst Road, Sidcup DA15 9AE, what3words: wished.sprint.enable. We'll do a lovely 1k lap of the adjacent park then head to the church hall. No matter what your speed, at GoodGym no-one is left behind.

You can leave bags in a locker at the leisure centre but you will need to bring your own padlock ๐Ÿ”.

We'll run/walk back afterwards or you can make your own way home after the task.

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 2km and 2km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
