â„šī¸ About This Session

We are relaunching GoodGym Bromley with a Group Run every Monday evening.

Meeting in the cafe at The Pavilion by MyTime Active in The Glades, we will run a gentle 2km south to Norman Park to lend a hand with litter picking, gardening and general upkeep of the beautiful green spaces around our borough, before heading back to base for an optional social.

📍 When and Where

Meet for the run @ 19:00 on Monday 3rd August Location: The cafe in The Pavilion by Mytime Active, Kentish Way, Bromley BR1 3EF

Alternatively you can meet us directly at Norman Park @ 19:30 Location: Bromley Council Car Park (free), Hook Farm Rd, Bromley BR2 9SX What3Words: ///riding.jams.list

Mytime Active have kindly said we can leave belongings in lockers at The Pavilion and there are toilet facilities on site, plus the cafe for water, etc.

🌱 The Task

After a gentle warm up we will set off around 19:15 with a leader and back marker ensuring nobody gets left behind, aiming to arrive in Norman Park around 19:30.

Please bring gardening gloves if you have them to hand. There we will support with litter picking, weeding and general upkeep of the park.

☕ī¸ Post-Run Refreshments

Around 20:15 we will head back to return to the The Pavilion for roughly 20:30.

The Railway Tavern by Bromley North station has said we are welcome for post-run refreshments. It's an eight minute stroll from The Pavilion and it'd be lovely if you can join us.

Walkable

You will be able to join a group walking to the task if you'd prefer not to run.

Options are available to run between 4km and 5km in total

Remember that we run/walk to and from the task, so you'll only be running/walking for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
