The Bears of Sheffield - sculpture spotting run
Bear spotting sculpture run within the city
Please note that this training session has been cancelled.
Remember the elephant sculptures from the Herd of Sheffield? The sculpture trail is back - as bears are set to take to the streets of Sheffield in July 2020. This exciting new project is brought to you by The Children’s Hospital Charity and will unite businesses, communities, artists and schools throughout the city and across the country, leaving a lasting legacy for years to come. The Herd of Sheffield raised over £610,000 for Sheffield Children’s Hospital with 58 large and 72 small elephants. This time around there will be 100 Little Bears sponsored and decorated by schools and 60 Big Bears sponsored by businesses and painted by professional artists. Both will be available to be seen on the trail this summer running from July to September across Sheffield.
Fancy joining us for an art bear spotting run, we hope you can't bear not to.
Run distance c. 6-10k tbc.
