Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool

We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Monday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across Liverpool.

Most Group Runs will be lead one of our fabulous volunteer qualified Run Leaders, but watch out for ones listed as 'Social Runs' as this means no Run Leader is present but we still go out and run together keeping our 'no one left beind' GoodGym vibe in place!

The Task

The Friends of Everton Park work hard throughout the year to keep this valued local park in tip top shape. We've had a great relationship with the team over the years working with them from Spring to Autumn carrying out a variety of tasks to help out.

The details of the task gets decided by FoEP nearer the time, but it's guaranteed to be a fun workout with different ways of getting stuck in to suit all fitness/mobility levels. Task details will be updated here as soon as we know, but do sign up anyway!!

Task Update

We'll be meeting at the Everton Community Garden on Prince Edwin Street to help with a tidy up and John said some digging and shifting!! I’m sharing a what3words address to help you find this specific location. Tap to see exactly where it is:

All tools will be provided but please bring your own gloves!

The Run

Neither of our fabulous run leaders are available this week so people are welcome to still run together as a social run or meet at the task. Please say in the comments or WhatsApp group which you want to do so we can make sure noone is left at Hope Street on their own!

Runners meet at the Suitcases on Hope Street ready for 6:30pm for a warm up and a run to the task. What 3 Words meet up link

For anyone that prefers not to run there is always the option to meet at the task location ready for 6:55pm, just let us know in the comments or WhatsApp group and we'll share the task meet up point once we know the full details of the task.

New to GoodGym?

This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.

Sign up by 6:30pm on Monday 17th June so we can let Ema know who to expect.

Options are available to run between 2km and 4km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us.
