SAVI North WestA great opportunity for GoodGym runners to get on two wheels and have a go at tandem cycling.
Local club SAVI Northwest promotes and develops inclusive opportunities of sports and activities for visually impaired people of all ages.
They run tandem cycling sessions with sighted front riders and visually impaired back riders at Bradbury Fields.
They're looking for competent cyclists who'll be comfortable cycling with a back rider on tandem bikes.
There'll be time before the session begins (at 9.30am) to get used to the bikes and cycling with a back rider.
The ride will be about 20 miles with a stop at a nearby cafe for a little break and cyclists will finish back at Bradbury Fields by 12.30pm.
Helmets and high vis will be provided, just bring some water and if you want a bite or drink at the cafe, some money. You can bring your own helmet along if you have one.
Please note that this task is limited to 6 places.
