We met on a sunny bank holiday weekend morning at the furniture recycling centre in Twickenham. The group included newcomers Laura, Rosie and Sam so a warm welcome to them. Jellyologist Jack's wife Kerry also made an appearance to boost numbers to nine.

Our main job was moving people's purchases from the main showroom into a storage space. It was a satisfying task requiring a mix of brawn and brains, with some heavy lifting and lots of figuring out the best place to leave the various bed frames, coffee tables and sofas. Very hands on! Someone however had their eye on a set of foldaway wooden chairs and may have wandered into a fragile mirror, so pray for star baker Lucy.

The task was completed in about an hour and afterwards taskforcers Monika and run leader Jack 'strike a pose' Concanon led everyone to the green for a coffee. Richmond Furniture Scheme were most appreciative of what we achieved, saying: "We love having GoodGym at the scheme and are always so grateful for the work you do."
