Marshalling at Only the Brave obstacle race in collaboration with Good Gym Colchester

Only the Brave is a fundraiser for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

It’s a 6 or 10 mile muddy obstacle run around the Euston Estate in Thetford IP24 2QP. Technically this is outside of Good Gym Ipswich's 'patch' but it's a great cause, one-off event and opportunity to get to know other Good Gym members in the East!

They need another 50 volunteers to help with marshalling the obstacles. There is no need to help people over or through, but lots of enthusiasm, loud support and a lot of laughs are strongly encouraged!!

It’s quite a long day with an early start to get everyone in place before the runners set off: marshals need to be at Euston Hall at 8am.

East Anglian Air Ambulance provide a packed lunch and can cover out of pocket expenses.

We are hoping between Good Gym Colchester and Good Gym Ipswich, we can help EE AB reach their target of 50 volunteers.

It would be helpful if people are interested that car-sharing to Euston Hall is considered.
