Pinch, Punch, first GG of the month. A fantastic 11, will be going to volunteer heaven, for tackling Sally's kitchen nightmares!! Pow Pow!!

On what looked like it was going to be one hell of a wash out, the Southwark crew braved the stormy clouds regardless, for a good cause with the Salvation Army and some massive hill running, all in the awesome name of GG Southwark of course!!

Joining the familia this week were 2 new faces - Alison, who I liked immediately as she laughed at my terrible jokes and Gosia, self proclaimed GG tourist and good deed assaiain!! YAY!

After housekeeping and catch ups were complete, we were out the door, bang on 7pm and under the ominous grey rumblings of potential downpour, we wasted no time, hot footing it the first 2miles to task base, collecting Rob and Beth on route.

With pigeon at the front and Sarah the beaut at the back, we dashed off the first hill with fire and grit! No one was inclined to moan, so it was merriment all round as we hurtled down the next hill and onto the Camberwell, our host for the eve.

Distracted as always by furry friends, I saw a gorgeous pug on the route, who I had to stop and snuggle with, even though my team couldn't be seen for dust!! Which meant a quick sprint to catch up and arrive at the destination as a full crew, phew!

Upon our arrival the task for the eve had been altered slightly. Expecting the toys r us clean up, but instead met with the mamouth job of the kitchen clean up!! And boy oh boy, did someone say 'grease'....... or was that squeekkk the resident mice chirping in to tell us what was what!! Yikes!!!!

So with 30mins to maximise, we slammed the tunes on and got to work, with the oven pulled apart and bleached into life, shelves and tables washed and polished and crockery made to look like new once more!! The team scrubbed and soaped with such vigour, that all team biceps and triceps were burning like bilio!!! No need for press ups today!!

Even though, you would never believe it, but we had so much flipping fun, just buffing and cleaning away, that we nearly missed the timer for the buzzer. But with 30mins cracked and a kitchen looking like new again, it was time to say goodbye and get back on the road once more!!

Oh yes..... not before we got to take a peek at some very dubious looking clay art Christian crosses from the kids..... Holy Crap!! let's just say that we were informed the clay turns grey once dried.... ummmmm ok!

On the road again and just one big and brutal hill to tackle, which we did as a team!! Particular shouts to Helena who is one hell Of a Wonder Woman. Not only does she whippet at the front, but she goes back down the hill to motivate and encourage the back packers too!! What a team player and one of the most positive and wonderful GG Gyals there is!!

Back at base and just in time for 5mins of Core! Legs eleven, it was all about the lifts and lower abs! Bench crunches and various lower ab leg lifts, just about finishing off the crew and bringing the session a close, with all the smiles under the Southwark sun!!

We managed to swerve the rain, endure the hill pain. Make new one big kitchen nightmare and all with our usual GG loving care!!

Until next time!!!!

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE
