Social visit for Mrs J who is housebound and has a friendly cat

Active Luton has asked GoodGym to provide Social Visits for Mrs J who is lonely and doesn't see many people as she is unable to get out. Mrs J likes to read and do crosswords and has a friendly cat.

Before signing up to this mission, please follow the link to complete your training and receive your Social Visit badge; Social visits training. This should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete.

GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can go together, but the mission will still go ahead with one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you are concerned about going solo, please do not feel under pressure to attend. Instead, please send us an email to missioncontrol@goodgym.org. If you let us know, we will not confirm it unless we have a second GoodGymer.

Not all homes have been risk assessed by the referrer or GoodGym and, although we will always give you as much information as we can before the mission, the home environment may still not be as expected, or may have changed. Remember that you do not have to enter, or remain in, the property if you do not feel comfortable. We recommend that you review your social visits training regularly as this contains advice on lone working and reporting concerns.
