Snowberry Clearing

Sunday 12th November we are hiring in a rotavator, giving volunteers some training on it and then using it to dig up and prepare the area for the first section of ‘Living Hedge’ in Loughborough Park.

We will also be raking out miles of trailing ivy, ripping out small tree stumps and cutting down more snowberry. Lots to do!

We are going to start at 2pm with 30 minutes training on the rotavator and finish by 5.30pm followed by a trip down the road to Friendship Adventure, a micro-brewery at Loughborough Junction.

Join in at any time but at 2pm if you want the training. Meet at 2pm at the Community Garden in the north east corner of the park or after that in the south east corner next to 28 Loughborough Park. Sturdy waterproof boots advised. Gloves, goggles, ear defenders if you have them or we will supply.
