We were back at Saltwell Junior parkrun this morning for part one of a double community mission Sunday!

Five goodgymers swapped their Sunday lie in for a volunteer stint at Saltwell Junior parkrun in Gateshead. This lovely two-lap 2k run brings together children of all ages as they run, walk and skip their way round.

I was on timekeeping duty today while Charlotte did finish tokens, Michael marshalled and Deb and Tanya provided the in-flight entertainment, doing all kinds of fun stuff from skipping to aeroplane impressions as they Tail-Walked.

It was off to the cafe for breakfast while Charlotte cycled ahead to get the next community mission started at Gateshead Riverside.

Hope to see you back at Hotel Indigo tomorrow for the big group run to support Newcastle University.
