Over 30 runners take tins and sort tins and weigh tins down at Vauxhall Food Bank

After the sweaty half marathon that was Run Hackney on the weekend, there were a few sore limbs and some lovely summer rain came along to cool us all off on Tuesday. We had lots of new starters and where better to go than Vauxhall Foodbank and the lovely Faith.

We had the brillo new Croydon trainer Juliet taking Lambeth for a test drive, ahead of her first run next Tuesday.

Great job Juliet and good luck in Croydon! Said everyone

With a 2 mile run each way, this is one of our longer runs, but everyone got there and back in one piece and we sorted loads of food given by the good shoppers at Waitrose. After some lovely stretches everyone was on their way.

Sadly we won't see Faith again until September as she is off to Borneo to do some volunteering and have an adventure.
