This week on our Wednesday run we're going out to Cowslip Meadow, one of Luton's nature reserves and we'll be tackling a familiar foe: Goldenrod!

To remove this invasive plant there was a council-led volunteer activity here earlier in the year but they didn't quite finish the job and the stubborn goldenrod has already sent new shoots up.

So it's gloves on for round two and we're going for a knockout this time!

It'll be a 3km run out from the meeting point, along New Bedford Road to the Cowslip Meadow, then 3km back again after the task.

Options are available to run between 6km and 6km in total

Remember that we run to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

This is a standard GoodGym group run. If you can't run for more than 15mins without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact us or see if there's a starter session coming up in your area.
