Maidenhead Community Allotment
The Maidenhead Community Allotment is run by a group of volunteers, who grow food to share with local residents, the users of the Boyn Grove Community and Resource Centre and Maidenhead Foodshare. They work with Men in Sheds, who are based on the same site. Men in Sheds is an initiative to combat loneliness by providing a space for men to connect and chat over practical tasks.
Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
Stop by on your run to help at the Maidenhead Community Allotment. Weeding, watering, digging new beds, filling water butts, marvelling at the thriving vegetation and perhaps snacking on some kale - there is always something to keep us busy!
Don't forget your gardening gloves!

Hi Rosie,
I’m the Area Activator for Windsor & Maidenhead, so I coordinate the group activities. I’m so sorry but I need to cancel this community mission as I will be away on holiday and I haven’t been able to find any other volunteers to lead in my absence. It is normally a really popular task so I had expected to find someone, but I think lots of others will be away too.
I’m particularly sorry as I know this was going to be your first session with us. I hope there will be another opportunity for you to join us soon. If you have any questions in the meantime please do get in touch.
