Race volunteering at adidas City Runs: 1 Hour

Volunteer at the City Runs: 1 Hour, and run another adidas City Runs race for FREE!

Please note that this party has been cancelled.

We’re back again with adidas City Runs in 2020. The City Runs: 1 Hour race is an unusual format where competitors run around a circuit of the City of London as many times as they can in one hour. GoodGym will be volunteering again, so come along and get a freebie, be part of something a bit different, and get GoodGym out there and seen at this high-profile event.

Role Baggage check. This will be working in a curtain-side truck taking and returning people’s bags.

Paternoster Square, EC4M 7DX. City Thameslink mainline is nearby, likewise St. Paul's, Barbican and Mansion House tube stations.

There are two shifts you can choose from: 07:30 – 14:00 (Truck 1) or 08:30 – 15:15 (Truck 2)

If you wish to co-ordinate with one another, perhaps you can put your shift in the comments at the bottom of this page.

How to get involved:

  • Most importantly, register your interest in City Runs volunteering via this link There you can choose which shift you’re on, then fill in your details.

  • When you’ve done this, if you can e-mail me your full name to daniel@goodgym.org. That way I can keep account of everyone who will be expecting a discount code from City Runs. If you have any issues in the future redeeming your discount, I can help follow-up.

Incentives: There are quite a few adidas City Runs events coming-up where you can redeem your free place...

Shoreditch 10K - July 19th

Fulham 10K - September 6th

Islington Half - November 15th

Islington 10K - November 15th

adidas City Runs: 1 Hour 2021 - TBC

You’ll get breakfast and lunch of course, and there are always plenty of medals and adidas race shirts floating around afterwards, so you can expect that again...

If you’ve any questions or anything is unclear, please just let me know…
