Preparing planters for spring planting.

It will turn two very messy, unloved planters into a visual asset to our area and high street and add to an established community gardening resources.

We have a number of large beds which are planted with edible and flowering plants to bring biodiversity and improve the appearance of our high street, as well as to decrease and deter flytipping.

Come join us to help CleanGreen in Maryland to brighten up the area and prepare for Spring!

We'll be preparing 2 large planters for spring planting, removing old soil and replacing with new top soil. The work will mostly be at waist height but will also involve moving bags of soil from storage using a trolley and taking it for disposal after.

You can meet us directly at this task, or come join us earlier in the morning when some of us will be volunteering at Hackney Marshes parkrun before running around a mile here to Maryland for a double dose of GoodGym goodness!
