The Orchard Project
The only national charity dedicated to creating, maintaining and celebrating community orchards, working so everyone in towns and cities across the UK can be within walking distance of a thriving, community-run orchard.

Friern Barnet Community Library is holding the first of a series of engagement sessions with the local community to plant a new orchard. As part of the session they will also be planting a mini-meadow - which may need some preparation!

We've been asked if we can pop along to help with a bit with digging and weeding. While the event runs fro 3-6pm, we should only need to be there from about 4pm for an hour or so - but come for long if you like and join the community.

They'll be looking for more volunteers to help with the maintenance of the new orchard and their community garden, going forwards, so if you're interested, please sign up.
