Parkwood Forest Garden is a beautiful calm space and a productive permaculture project. It is a young forest garden developed by Sheffield City Council in association with volunteers. The Forest Garden is a productive managed woodland, which produces food for both people and wildlife. We have been volunteering regularly at this great location since Feb 2019, our maintenance activities generally include: weeding, mulching and pruning.

Meet at Parkwood Springs Forest Garden car park (09.50am) (opposite flats 104-138), Shirecliffe Road, S5 8XB and walk over to the garden for 10.00am.

Friends of Parkwood Springs are following council COVID guidance. All tools and appropriate training are provided, tool cleaning materials provided, activities will be planned to avoid sharing tools and ensure social distancing.

Please bring you own gloves, wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes if the weather is a bit grey, and come and join in.
