Date and time
14:45 - 16:45Tideway, the company behind London's super sewer, has partnered with Active 360 (a local organisation rework with a lot to keep the tideway clean) and London Sports Trust to being people closer to the water and keep it clean for everybody to enjoy safely.
Join them for a paddle and river clean up hiding out around the local islands at low tide where you will be stopping to pick litter from the trees, foreshore and water. Some experience would be lapful but to essential as they will have coaches there on the day to guide you safely.
The river is on the mend after decades of toxic overflow and neglect and marine life is finding its way back - there have even been spottings of dolphins and seals! However, its sustainability is till under threat from plastic pollution - so let's work together to put this right.
Please only sign up for this session if you are sure you can make it as there are limited places and the coaches will be preparing all the equipment for you ahead of time
Meet by the Active 360 archway by the slipway at the foot of the north side of Kew Bridge
