Between the 4 of us, all on bikes, we managed to bench map New Earswick and and Monks Cross, so great progress. I think I got the short straw with removing 2 plotted benches from my map while David, Laura and John plotted 46 new benches between them. David and Laura even managed to find a bench with a stepper. Not sure if that counts as outdoor equipment for the Move the Masses map? The nights are drawing in so don't forget bike lights if you are joining us next time. Heading clockwise towards Heworth next...watch this space.

Benchmapping
Checking where the benches are and what condition they are in.

Age Friendly York listens to what older people say and tries to take this on board to make the city Age Friendly. Some older people told us they like to continue to walk but need to rest their legs. This task helps us first to understand where the benchers are so we know where we can look at providing more benches.
